West Texas Fair and Rodeo Parade

To All Area Cushman Riders:

Please note the change of meet location for annual West Texas Fair and Rodeo Parade and other activities.

New Location: Buck Creek RV Park phone: 325 672 2825

Directions: Take exit 294 off I 20 east of Abilene go north 1/4 mile.

Anyone bringing an RV should call and make reservations. Identify yourself with the Cushman group.

We will gather for the parade at 10:00 am Saturday at 5th and Oak. as in the past.

The club will serve supper Friday, lunch and supper Saturday. There will be an 80 mile ride Saturday after lunch.

Hill Country Ride:

There will be a ride in the Hill Country the first weekend in Aug the 6th and 7th. There will also be a ride the first weekend of Oct. the 1st and 2nd. So if you can not make the Oct ride maybe you can the Aug ride. (The rides in Aug will be shorter because of the heat.) 10^th Annual COASTAL BEND RIDE

Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, TX

Don't miss this “two for one” coastal bend ride!

On Friday, October 15^th, Fred and Margaret Hoese will host a get together with Gumbo, Beans, Rice and all the trimmings provided by Barbara and John Allbright. Come to Fred and Margaret’s home in Bay Harbour at 140 Bay Harbour (in Aransas Pass 78336) and enjoy an evening on the Texas Coast. It is a gated community so you can call either Fred (210.260.4469) or John (512.332.6129) for the gate code. Bring your favorite drinks, snacks and desserts. The party starts at 5PM and goes until dusk. Fred has asked for an RSVP to him at either his email: fohoese@gvtc.com or by phone to 210.260.4469.

On Saturday, October 16th, John Allbright and Homer Schelling plan to sponsor a ride beginning at ICW RV Park (427 East Ransom Road, Aransas Pass, TX) at 9:00 a.m. Donuts and coffee will be provided with the ride beginning at 10:00 a.m. We will be stopping for lunch around noon. Then, we will ride over to Port Aransas (across the ferry) for ice cream and candy. We will return to ICW RV Park about 2:30 – 3:00 PM.

On Sunday, October 17th, join us for the Annual Corpus Christi Cushman Ride! Meet at Knuckleheads Café at 8:30 a.m. for coffee and donuts The 35 MPH ride going over the HIGH BRIDGE (bring your strongest scooter!) starts at 9:30 a.m. We will stop for lunch and return.
