Calendar of Events 2026

February 27-28, 2026–18th Annual Carmine Ride–Carmine, Texas. Come join us in Carmine, Texas (about 20 miles west of Brenham on US 290) this spring! Here’s what we have planned: The rides start at 9:30 from the Pecan Grove Inn parking lot on both Friday and Saturday mornings, so those coming from a distance need to arrive on the 26th to make the 9:30 AM start time on the 27th.  An early bird dinner is planned for the 26th for early arrivers. The meet will be at the Pecan Grove Inn B & B, 233 Augsburg Street in Carmine, http://www.pecangroveinn.com. We (yes, that’s my wife and I) have six rooms. March 27-28, 2026 – Turkey Texas Ride. Turkey, Texas – Another fun ride around the Texas Plains of West Texas. The old Turkey Hotel (806) 423-1151 has been restored and has rooms available for $119 plus tax. Also, the adjacent RV spaces are available for $45 per night. The hotel restaurant is also open for morning and evening meals. This is a great chance to start the year off with good rides and less traffic. For more information call Don Henry (325) 665-5716.

April 10-11, 2026 Water Valley Memorial Ride- Water Valley, Texas. For those attending with RV’s, reservations will need to be made with Water Valley (Harper Park) through Tom Green County (www,tomgreencountytx.gov/reservations). Go to Services, scroll down to park reservations, and set up an account. You will need to choose upper or lower spaces. Spaces all have both 30 and 50 amps and are $25 per night. In memory of Ben and Les we will be look forward to visiting and sharing times past, eating good food and of course riding our scooters over the divide for breakfast on Saturday morning. Since we have the building rented, lets plan on having pot luck dinner Saturday evening. Following tradition there will be the pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. April 23-25, 2026 – Pate Swap Meet – Texas Motor Speedway – Ft. Worth, Texas. One of the country’s largest swap meets celebrating their 52nd year with Cushman parts, along with everything else. May 15-16, 2026 – Oklahoma State Meet – Sulphur, Oklahoma – The annual state meet for the Oklahoma Cushman Club will be held in Sulphur with plenty of good rides and good food. Since we have many members who are members of both the Oklahoma and Texas State clubs, this would be a good opportunity for us to have a big Spring Meet in Oklahoma and a big Fall Meet in Texas that will help both clubs. June 14-18, 2026 – 44th National CCOA Meet – Abilene, Texas. There are plenty of vendor spaces, show scooter space and room for scooter lock-up all in the round building. The Texas High School rodeo has the facility rented through Saturday the 13th so we cannot get on site until Sunday, June 14, 2026, The meet promises to be a fun time with plenty of activities for everyone. July 9-11, 2026 – Ozark Mountain Ride, Green Forest, Arkansas – Dale and Sandy Dishman will again be hosting another great ride around the Ozark Mountains in North Western Arkansas. Call them at (870) 438-5641 for more information,

September 5, 2026 – West Texas Area Fun Day – On Saturday we will line up at 9:30 for the annual West Texas Fair Parade in Abilene. Following lunch and weather permitting, we will have an afternoon ride. Contact: Don Henry (325) 665-5716

September 30-October 3, 2026 – Texas Cushman Club State Meet – Snyder, Texas – The Texas Cushman Club will be having its 44th State Meet from Wednesday through Saturday. This facility is a good venue for a Cushman meet and we hope you make plans on being there. Plenty of camping on site will accommodate everyone.
