The State Meet for 2022 is a month away! The summer has flown by ( maybe it melted by) and the deadline to place your order for the 40th State Meet t-shirt is on Sept. 2.

Your early registration helps us to plan for the numbers for the meals and gets you a PRINTED name badge. Come prepared to ride, play games, eat, and visit with some of the finest people you’ve ever hope to meet.

IF you just can’t come to Paris for the State Meet, please remember this is when your annual dues need to be sent to Jane Press, TCC Secretary. Your current membership expires on October 1, the last day of the State Meet.

A memorial is scheduled for Friday, Aug 19 at 10 am. This will be held at the Chisholm Trail Museum just west of Cleburne, TX. Charlene has asked we have his two Ford Mustang convertibles and his original scooter present for the service.

I am selling a 1963 super eagle built by Tommy Greer/original Texas Title /, known as a “Bandelero” / with the 31 hp B&Straton. dual belt drive, dual exhaust, dual Micunie carbs, I began refurbishing but my health deterated to where I could no longer ride or work on this scooter. From Calendar of Events: August 19-20, 2022- Ouray, Colorado ride. James and Jane Press have invited their Cushman friends to join them in Ouray next summer for two great days of great rides in the cool Colorado mountains. Plan to arrive on the 18th for an early start on Friday. The Ouray Riverside Inn and Resort will be the starting point for rides leaving around 9 am each day. Some of us are planning on riding on Sunday and departing on Monday.

Our mustering location for both the Friday and Saturday rides will be at Rotary Park, 0.7 mile north of Ouray Riverside Resort on Highway 550. The park is on the right when riding north. The meeting time will be 9:00 AM each morning. Please do NOT plan on leaving a vehicle in the park for the day–other parties may reserve the park and need the space.
