March 10th & 11th, 2017 – 11th Annual Carmine Rides – Carmine, TX
Come join us in Carmine, Texas (about 20 miles west of Brenham on US290) this spring! Here’s what we have planned:

  1. Dates: Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th:
  2.  The rides start at 9:30, so those coming from a distance need to arrive on the 9th to make the 9:30 AM start time on the 10th.

April 21th – 23rd, 2017 – Water Valley Ride To Eat
Those attending with RV’s there are hookups with water and electricity, $20.00/night, no reservations are required at the Park. There will be an afternoon ride for early arrivals on Thursday. Sunday morning Ben Sargent will serve a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and coffee for everyone to enjoy before breaking camp and returning home.

April 27th – April 30, 2017 – Pate Swap Meet – Texas Motor Speedway – Ft. Worth, TX One of the country’s largest swap meets with Cushman parts along with everything else. For more information call the Pate Swap Meet at (713) 649-0922 or Don Henry who will be setting up there (325) 692-3749
May 26th _ 28th, 2017– West Texas Area Spring Meet, Turkey, Texas. Plan to arrive on Thursday night (25th) with Martin Stafford to lead rides on Friday and Saturday. The Hotel Turkey has remodeled rooms with food and live music on the weekends. For reservations call the Hotel and RV Park call (806) 423-1151

July 20th -22nd, 2017 – West Texas Area Summer Meet – Santa Fe, New Mexico – Our headquarters will be at the Inn at Sante Fe, 8376 Cerrillos Rd. just off I-25. Their reservation number is 505-474-9500. Our special hotel rate is $99.00 + tax per night which includes a full breakfast. The normal weekend rate in July is $159.00 so we are getting a deal.  The hotel has a parking lot that it shares with the Outlet mall, where we are welcome to park trailers.  Reservations should be made as soon as people make plans because Santa Fe is very popular and rooms fill quickly.  When calling for the room reservation be sure to mention you are with the Cushman group. There are 3 RV parks near the motel: Santa Fe Skys RV Park, 1-877-565-0451 or 505-473-5946 (3.6 mi. from the hotel) ; Trailer Ranch RV Resort 505-471-9970  (3.1 mi from the hotel) ;  Los Campos de Santa Fe RV Resort  (2.8 mi from the hotel);  The Thurs. ride will go to Madrid.  We will eat lunch at the Mine Shaft Tavern. Friday will be the Discover Santa Fe Day. People will be on their own for site seeing.  Sat. will be a ride to El Rancho de las Golondrinas.  There will be the 10th Annual !Viva Mexico! September 8th & 9th, 2017 – West Texas Area Fall Meet, Merkel, Tx. For those arriving early we will plan on a Thursday afternoon ride followed by country rides on Friday. Saturday we will do the annual West Texas Fair Parade in Abilene. Headquarters will be a the Windmill RV Park, 2398 FM 1235 & 1-20 in Merkel, TX. Their phone is (325) 928-0009. For those also planning on coming to the State Meet in Snyder, I am working on finding a location to leave your RV so you won’t have to pull it home and back. Contact: Don Henry 325-692-3749

October 12th -14th, 2017 – Texas Cushman Club State Meet, Snyder, Texas – The Texas Cushman Club will be having its State Meet in Snyder, Texas from Thursday through Saturday. The Schedule of Events will be posted as we get closer to the Meet. Contact: Brent Landry 936-718-0858

November 2 thru 4th, First Texas Cushman Lone Star Rally I would like to invite everyone to the 1st Texas Cushman Lone Star Rally. We will meet in Conroe, Texas at the corner of I 45 North and League Line Road on the east side in Mama Juanita’s Parking lot at noon on Thursday the 2nd. So here is the plan we will do a short ride that afternoon Thursday and then back to Mama Juanita’s for dinner.The next morning Friday we will ride about 150 miles over to Lake Livingston and back across the northern part of Lake Conroe thru Sam Houston National Forest to Carlos and lunch at Yankees friendly biker bar. Then back to Conroe for barbecue dinner at McKinsey’s. Saturday morning up early and trailer to South Houston, leaving our vehicles at a park, to ride across the Galveston Causeway Bridge to Galveston Island. The Big Bike Lone Star Bike Rally will be going on. We will ride down seawall drive then back to ride the Galveston Ferry across Galveston Bay to Chrystal Beach. Back to Galveston to ride down the Strand Blvd which is the main street in Galveston. Packed with bikers and we are always the hit of the party, so after riding thru the Strand back down Seawall Drive to have sea food at Landry’s across from the Beach and (No I don’t get a Discount). A little more riding leaving Galveston around 3 back to our cars, and trailers. About 5 of us have been doing this for the past 10 years and it is really exciting. It’s all fun and safe, so I want to share this with all of you. Now, you will need a VANGUARD to get across the causeway bridge. Questions please call me. Nov. 10-11, 2017 A ride through the countryside around Alpine has been discussed. Don Henry was working on the event. He has had another back surgery and will get back with me after he has recovered.
