Snyder-Here We Come!

In October, the State Meet will be held in Snyder, Tx.

Here’s a billboard with their “Welcome to Snyder” artwork.

For grins, here is a look at the Coliseum today. What’s wrong with this picture?

Dirt floor! There will be a rodeo this weekend. Don’t faint! It will be clean and ready for us in October.

Just start planning for a wonderful time of riding with the Club.

March 2017 Carmine, Tx

James and Jane Press welcomed Texas Cushman riders to their home for their annual ride. On Thursday morning, 15 scooters took off for a tour of the area. After driving through the country side via Burton,  we stopped at Lake Somerville, then into Somerville for lunch.  The ride was about 85 miles and enjoyed by all.

Saturday morning dawned with rain falling. 30 people gathered for Jane’s breakfast feast.

No riding but the visiting was in high gear!

What a great way to begin 2017 Cushman season.

Plan to see you all in Bastrop for the Central Texas ride.

Big Country Swap Meet

We just wanted to drop you a note to remind you to make plans for this year’s Big Country Swap Meet in Abilene on  March 31-April 1, 2017. It is only a month away! We are already having great responses and it will be another great meet this yeat.

The finest swapmeet in west central Texas, the Big Country Swapmeet is held at the Big Country Raceway (Abilene Dragstrip), which makes it particularly good for vendors because of the all concrete surface, permanent restrooms and fantastic food service. There are lights for the evening and a great P.A. system to keep you updated. The spaces are large and laid out to be easy to access and shop! There is on-premises RV spaces and optional electrical service in selected spaces.

IMPORTANT: We are once again offering the “Car Club Package” which is 10 adjoining spaces for only $200!!! Grab some buddies and get this bargain together. Some can shop while others mind the store! This package must be preregistered online, or by mail.

Breaking News: CM Auctions will be holding the Big Country Collector Car Auction at the swapmeet on Saturday at noon. You can get details at www.cmauctions,com .
