We regret to share the news that John Henslee, TCC # 1200, has passed away this afternoon, October 16, 2019.

I will post the obituary when I have received it.

John was a gentleman who cared deeply for others. He will be missed.

Can you believe it? Next week, Oct. 9-12 we will be gathering at Snyder, Tx for the 37th State Meet!

On Wednesday night at 6:00 we have reservations at AMORE Italian Restaurant located at 4604 College Ave. Great food along with the fun of the dessert auction with the benefits going to American Cancer Society.

The Snyder Daily News had a well written article in last Thursday, Sept. 26.

I have learned of the past 2005-2006 President death. Please remember his family during their time of sorrow.

Gene is on the RIGHT.

Jennifer Johnson has served well as the TCC editor. We thank her for her work.

Gene Perry will now be the Editor. This a photo of Gene (Right) and James (Left) Perry at the Possum Kingdom Ride in July of 2018.

So when you see him pointing a camera your way or asking questions, be agreeable and smile!

For the 37th year, Texas Cushman Club was represented in the West Texas Fair parade.

There were 12 Cushman scooters in the West Texas Fair parade. Including Evan Underwood and his Dad, Eric Underwood. Evan was riding his grandfather’s scooter.

The group met for lunch at Mom’s in Hawley. These had a wonderful time with friends.

Don Henry, Don Paige, and Martin Stafford went on an afternoon ride with Judy Henry driving chase. 100 degrees and NO rain.

Texas Cushman Club members were BIG winners at the National Meet in Paris, TX.

Remember to get them mailed by October 1, 2019 for me to receive them before the meet. Early registration will allow me to print your name badges. After October 1, please bring them to the registration desk at Snyder. ( If you are unable to come to Snyder, please still use the registration form to send in an updated personal information form along with your annual dues of $30.00)

Here’s a preview of the patch. The Snyder Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful logo that we received permission to use on the Snyder patch. Jeanne Farquharson of Creative Graphic Solutions LLC in Abilene has been our source for embroidered patches for many years.
